Automatic Vehicle Identification is the component of Intelligent Transport System (ITS) which means to automatically identify a vehicle at a barrier. The HyPass AVI system can with its advance RFID technology, identify a vehicle as it approaches a gate or a barrier, allowing the AVI Control System to authorize entry and open the gate, without the driver ever having to stop or open the window.
